When connecting to an Avaya system via SAL, AlarmTraq uses the Microsoft MSHTML.DLL (Internet Explorer) to render the web pages. To optimize SAL connections, we compiled a few settings for Internet Explorer that seem to help with some reported issues.
Keep in mind if you are running AlarmTraq as a Windows service, you must make these setting from within the 'Interactive Services' (more) dialog box while AlarmTraq is running (Server 2008 and 2012).
Recommended Java and Internet Explorer versions
Java Version 8 Update 91 (4/20/2016)
Internet Explorer 11
Internet Explorer Settings
Add your SAL connection URL to your 'Trusted Sites' Zone.
Open Internet Explorer and browse to the SAL cor login page. Go to Tools-Internet Options-Security.
Go to Internet Options. On the General tab, under Browsing History click Settings. Select the "Every time I visit the webpage" radio button. This doesn't "disable" the cache per se, but it should fix your underlying problem - the JS files should be reloaded every time.
Disable hardware rendering
Go to Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab, and then under Accelerated graphics, select the Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering check box.
