XAlerter
XAlerter functions using the Caller-ID (ANI) capabilities of AlarmTraq to notify
you when a call is placed to AlarmTraq and no connection is established or no alarm
information is sent.
This allows you to see who is calling AlarmTraq and provides a very basic form of
notification for systems that have no remote alarming capabilities. It also acts
a backup in the event one of your systems is not able to establish a proper modem
connection.
AlarmTraq will try to match the incoming telephone number an INADS number in the
site-profiles database, if it finds a match you will be notified via email as an
"
UNKNOWN ALARM CALL" warning message (see below).
If no match is found, you will be notified with a generic message
In order to enable XAlerter, you must edit the following Windows Registry entries
in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Reilly Telecom\AlarmTraq\
XAlerterEnabled = True/False
XAlerterEmailAddress = Enter an email address to receive messages
(multiples seperated by a comma)
XAlerterOpenNewSO = True/False (Used with Tigerpaw to open a new
Service Order)
